Vote for Buhari’s experience, Aboderin urges Nigerians

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Wole Aboderin, has urged Nigerians to vote for the experience of the party’s presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Aboderin, who spoke on Thursday, explained that Buhari has what it takes to lead Nigeria to greatness.

Describing Buhari as an upright and disciplined man with the love of the country at heart, Aboderin urged voters to troop out en masse and vote for the country’s symbol of change.

He said, “Buhari is in the best position to deal with the situation. Luckily, he has always surrounded himself with intellectuals, one more reason Nigerians of different backgrounds are supporting his candidature. If Nigeria truly desires a break away from the current stagnation and economic downturn, Buhari is certainly the option.

“Buhari wants to contribute his gifts and talents. He is no longer interested in material acquisitions. He has realised that life is transient. He has stepped out in love to address the challenges that have engulfed our great nation.”

He said Buhari had gone through several human experiences and attained tremendous wisdom that could add value to the country.

Aboderin added, “There are developmental stages in human maturity according to psychological principles. There are athletes, warriors and statesmen. Buhari belongs to the statesmen and spirituality stages where the only thing that makes meaning to the candidate is what he can contribute to the society.”
