Police Brutality in Gowon Estate Egbeda, leaves One dead and 4 seriously Injured over Shop Space

This is an eye witness report exclusive from AhYou.A.Learner Blog. The Police stormed the customs' quarters section of gowon estate during the late hours of this morning after being led by an  custom's officer who in his bid to claim a section of land inorder to construct his shop on Federal government land controlled by the Federal Housing Authority has led to the death of one person and the serious injury on four others while one has being taken into custody by the police. The customs' Officer in question is an Ibo man who waited for his colleagues to leave for work before he went ahead to call in the Police to come and harass the wives and children of the same officers he lives with inside the barracks which has left one person dead and 4 people seriously injured.

The said officer resides in Block 3 flat 10 Customs' Quarters Gowon Estate, 511rd 5th Avenue, Gowon Estate in Egbeda. He is an Ibo man who at one point in time was elected as the General provost of the Customs' Quarters but was expelled due to his corrupt ways and his violent attitude. He led the band of 4 police officers dressing in the classic black uniform and another 4 showed up later dressed in the blue camouflage uniform who were all from the Mosolasi  Police district along Alimoso, Iyana Ipaja. In the process of forcefully ejecting occupants of the said properties which the officer in question wants to covert, several youths were injured by his hands because he carried an dagger and the police officers didn't spare shooting sporadically despite knowing they were in the barracks and there are high-rise building in and around them. Many ran for their lives and during this moment of pandemonium and one of the youth caught was forcefully take into custody. The death of the unfortunate youth happened when the police officers shot sporadically and a stray bullet hit one on the Muslim praying field which was directly opposite to the dispute land in question.

In one of the mobile videos uploaded you'll see the Police patrol van driving through and making a u-turn, at this period they had taken one of the youths into custody who was serious beaten and injured and they came back looking to see if they could pick any other person while their colleagues kept shooting sporadically at the other end of the Customs' Mosque. In another video, it clearly show where the camouflage wearing officers held their guns in the air shooting within the barracks that had women, children and youths who are on break for the festive period hiding in the various flats.

One of the uploaded videos shows where the car of the said Ibo Customs' Officer fighting over shop space had been smashed by angry residents within the estate for inviting unscrupulous police officers in the estate who ended up killing one innocent person and injuring four others...

 One of the injured youths by the name Samuel is presently on admission at the Hospital for serious injuries sustained in the hands of the said customs' Officer and the Police Officers at the time of this report. The mis-use of the Police force has been on the rise in Nigeria and around the world which has resulted in the deaths of innocent people, children and adults for reason unknown. The death of one innocent youth and four injured should be blamed on the officers and not the complaint who brought them to render service against defenseless and unarmed citizens.

Please spread the word and let the officers be put to justice and the said Customs' officer be dealt with by the Federal employing body that employed a clothed lunatic to serve our great Nation Nigeria.
